Happy sharing your love day:)

My facebook feed is filled with food and with lists of adoptable pets from several shelters. It is very disheartening to see the journey of a happy tail wagging dog on the first day at the shelter to the dog becoming unresponsive or aggressive or depressed and hence unadoptable. These pets who were loved and cared for, end up in this jail with constant barks, high stress energies and minimal human contact. how do we expect them to stay their friendly self? On this day filled with love and caring, I'd like to share these infographics about the shelter and rescue system and how we can change the unnecessary euthanization of adoptable pets (more 9000 per day, more than 6 per minute killed).
17 million people are looking to bring a dog or a cat into their home every year. and still 4-5 million adoptable pets in shelters, that end up euthanized.
